Fractional Non-Ablative
Skin Resurfacing
Using fractional microbeams for skin rejuvenation
With little to no downtime
for patients, our Lux1540 Fractional Laser Handpiece delivers non-ablative
skin resurfacing with high efficacy and comfort, for a real
"wow!" result
|
Our fractional non-ablative skin resurfacing uses
an array of up to 470 high-precision microbeams to create narrow, deep
columns (over 1mm deep) of tissue coagulation in the epidermis and dermis,
while leaving the stratum corneum (outer layer of skin) in place and
dermal tissue surrounding the coagulated columns unaffected.
These
columns of coagulation stimulate the body's natural healing response, and
cause new, healthy tissue to form. There is minimal redness and discomfort,
allowing the patient to return to their daily activities immediately.
|
- Our Fractional
Non-Ablative Skin Resurfacing delivers penetrating uniform microbeams
in a simple treatment approach, without the need for time-consuming
and costly preparation and clean-up.
- Fractional
Non-Ablative Skin Resurfacing requires little to no downtime,
providing efficacious results for hard-working, "on the go"
patients.

Photofacials
Photorejuvenation for pigmented and vascular lesions
The LuxG handpiece delivers
optimally-filtered pulsed light which targets the lesion, destroying it and
causing it to disappear
|
Our photorejuvenation process uses the optimal wavelength of light
to clear vascular and pigmented lesions by targeting hemoglobin (for
vascular lesions) and melanin (for pigmented lesions). Once the light is
absorbed as heat by the lesion, the lesion disappears.
The LuxG handpiece has the highest power of any laser and pulsed
light platform, delivering effective energy in larger spot sizes for the
fastest effective treatments on larger areas.
|
- Photorejuvenation
is effective on the face, arms, chest, and other large body areas,
with no patient downtime.
- Our process can
remove damage caused by years of sun exposure and minimize the effects
of aging.

Pigmented lesions
Clearing pigmented lesions with superior patient comfort
Pulsed light delivered by LuxG handpiece heats the melanin in a
pigmented lesion, which causes the lesion to disappear
|
Specially filtered bands of light target the melanin in pigmented
lesions, where the light is converted into heat. This heating selectively
destroys the pigmented lesion, which is sloughed away, clearing the lesion
within two weeks.
|
- Specific wavelengths
of light can target pigmented lesions on most skin types.
- Our handpieces can
quickly treat large areas of the body with little discomfort and no
downtime.

Permanent Hair Reduction
Specifically-filtered pulsed light delivered by LuxR handpiece
destroys cells that grow new hair, while contact cooling ensures patient
comfort and safety
|
Permanent hair removal is achieved when the cells responsible for
growing new hair are disabled. Pulses of light at specific wavelengths can
target the pigment in hair follicles, which absorb the light energy as heat.
|
- Specific wavelengths
of light can target both finer and coarser hair as well as lighter
hair, on all skin types.
- Different spot sizes
and concentrations of power can treat large areas of hair as well as
smaller areas, such as underarms and bikini lines.

Vascular lesions
Specially-filtered pulsed light delivered by LuxG handpiece heats the
blood, which damages the lesion and causes it to disappear
|
To clear vascular lesions, a specific wavelength of light is
absorbed by the blood, which damages the lesion. The damaged lesion
eventually disappears, removing the appearance of the lesion from the skin.
|
- Light energy is
delivered over a smooth pulse duration, keeping epidermal temperature
lower for more comfortable treatments.
- With a spot size
greater than any laser, you can treat patients more quickly while
providing results as good as or better than the “gold
standard” lasers.
